Indian Child Welfare

The NUIFC Indian Child Welfare (ICW) Program is a powerful knowledge network of urban Indian ICW service providers engaged in peer-to-peer technical assistance, mentoring and problem solving.

ICW Toolkit
The NUIFC, in collaboration with Casey Family Programs and the National Indian Child Welfare Association, has created an ICW toolkit to provide essential knowledge, information, strategies, tools and resources pertaining to ICWA/ICW programs and services in urban Indian communities.





ICW Social Network
Innovative urban ICW social networking community comprised of NUIFC members striving to protect the best interests of Native American children, promote the stability and security of Native families and to ensure that sates and counties are fully compliant with the  Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA).
